Remedial works at the pool
Remedial works at the Karratha Leisureplex pools are set to commence at the end of April.
The leisure pool and splashpad are scheduled to close from 30 April for four to six weeks, allowing contractors to address substrate and tiling issues. Following completion of the leisure pool works, the 50-metre pool will close for about eight weeks over winter. To minimize impact on pool users, these closures have been scheduled for the cooler months when pool attendance has traditionally been at its lowest. Throughout these remediation works, one pool will always be available during regular aquatic hours.
