About the pool

Swimming enthusiasts will love the Karratha Leisureplex’s partially shaded 50m 8 lane swimming pool.  The 50m pool also has the ability to be configured as two 25m pools by means of a movable boom.  This is generally done to accomodate water polo activities or any short course events.

The aquatic facility also includes heated zero-entry 25m lap lanes, heated Learn to Swim/Children's pool and splashpad.  Whether you want to kick back and enjoy a family day by the pool, or dive in and power through some laps, the Karratha Leisureplex is sure to please.

Swimming lessons

30-minute learn to swim lessons are conducted throughout the summer season, once a week:

• Infant Lessons (6 months – 36 months)
• Water familiarisation classes with parents are in the water with baby and teacher.
• Toddlers (3 – 5 years)
• Learn to swim (school age)

Adult Lessons

For beginners through to more advanced swimmers (lessons last one hour)

Aquaruns

Two Aquaruns are available for hire during opening hours for weekend parties or functions.
