Eligible youth aged 5 to 18 years are encouraged to apply for financial assistance towards club fees.  The fees go directly from the City of Karratha to the registered KidSport clubs participating in the project.  KidSport is a Government of Western Australia Department of Sport and Recreation initiative administered by the City of Karratha.

How do I get involved?

Step 1: Complete this application form and submit it to Karratha Leisureplex to be validated (Remember to include a copy of your health care card or pension concession card!)

Step 2: The City of Karratha will validate the form and return it to you.

Step 3: Submit the form to your local club when registering  - and enjoy your experience.

Step 4: The club will invoice the City of Karratha for the cost of fees up to $200 per child.


What else?

Funding covers the cost of fees to join the nominated sport or recreation club.

Maximum of up to $200 per child per calendar year.

Fees are only for the nominated registered season.

No retrospective fees will be paid.

No limitation to applications per family as long as the criteria is met.

Applicant must be aged 5 to 18 years.

Applicant must have a Health Care Card or Pension Concession Card

Applicant's primary place of residence must be in the City of Karratha area they are applying to.
